Join leading art historians as they discuss the relative merits of the Victorian Masters featured in the exhibition A Victorian Obsession. An entertaining and enlightening evening that will shed light on the collection and its artists; not only as individuals but also as part of a bigger picture.
The panel of experts, chaired by art historian Colin Cruise, will take it in turns to present one of the Masters from the exhibition to the audience. Panellists include Alison Smith (Millais), Stephen Wildman, (Burne-Jones), Julian Treuherz (Alma-Tadema), Christopher Newall (Rossetti) and Daniel Robbins (Leighton).
The debate will conclude with questions from the floor and a show of hands – which artist will win the public’s vote?
Doors open at 6.30pm with the opportunity to view the exhibition and enjoy light refreshments.
